Empowerment through education.

The Armstrong Commissiong Family Foundation (ACFF) is dedicated to empowering women and children in marginalized communities across the globe. We believe that education is central to people’s well-being, and that well-being is a human right.

What We Do

ACFF partners with organizations in the United States, the Caribbean, and Africa to provide educational resources to marginalized communities. By working with people who live in the communities, we ensure that our support addresses the actual needs of the women and children we serve.

What We’ve Been Up To

  • Bridging the Gap: Providing Uniforms for Kids in Need

We believe every child deserves to feel confident and prepared for school. Seeing the great need at Blackshear Elementary in Houston, TX, we stepped in to provide uniforms for underserved students, ensuring they have the essentials to focus on learning without worry.

This initiative is part of our commitment to supporting children and families in our community. With the right resources, every child has the opportunity to thrive.

  • Fighting Hunger, Feeding Hope

ACFF partnered with DSS to ensure families in the DMV area had access to nutritious meals, reinforcing our commitment to supporting those in need. Through our collaboration with Project Give Back, we extended our reach to provide meals for individuals and families facing food insecurity in our community.

Together, we are making a difference—one meal at a time. Join us in our mission to fight hunger and uplift our community.

  • ACFF Brings Technology and Holiday Cheer to Crispus Attucks Elementary School Children

ACFF is making a lasting impact at Crispus Attucks by providing brand-new tablets for all 8th graders, special gifts for every student, and laptops for the school. This initiative bridges the digital divide and empowers students with the tools they need to succeed.

“We believe every child deserves access to technology that will help them thrive,” said Nicole Commissiong, Executive Director. “By providing these resources, we’re investing in their future.”
